Welcome to Merge Point. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Merge Point platform. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Description
Merge Point provides an AI-powered bidding and tender management platform. Our services include:
- Knowledge Base: Secure vector-indexed environment for document storage.
- AI Workspace: Generative tools for drafting RFI and tender responses.
- Export Tools: Automated PDF generation for final bid submissions.
2. Subscriptions & Payments
By selecting a subscription plan (Starter or Business), you agree to the following billing terms:
- Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis from the date of your first payment.
- Payments: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. You must provide valid payment information to maintain access.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our AI generation services, we generally do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has processed, except where required by UK consumer law.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Ensuring all activity under your domain complies with these terms.
4. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership
Your Content: You retain 100% ownership of all documents and "Source of Truth" data uploaded to Merge Point.
AI Outputs: You own all drafts generated by our AI Workspace.
5. Data Residency
All Knowledge Base data is hosted within the europe-west2 (London) region. We maintain strict data sync protocols between Firebase, Firestore, and Pinecone to ensure UK data sovereignty compliance.
6. Termination & Deletion
Upon termination, we provide a 30-day window for data export. Following this, our cleanupKnowledgeBase protocol permanently scrubs your data from all database layers (Firebase, Firestore, and Pinecone).
7. Limitation of Liability
Merge Point is a tool to assist in drafting. Users are responsible for the final review and accuracy of all submissions. Merge Point is not liable for the outcome of any specific tender or contract bid.
